Sharon's Childminding Services: May 2010

I'm a registered childminder and have been for 3 years.
I'm currently looking after children, on a part basis, ranging from 6months to 3 years old.

My role as a childminder is to care for and safeguard children in a secure and safe enviroment, one that allows them to learn and develope their own skills to become strong and independent children, so they are ready to face today's society.

I encourage each child in my care to enjoy all activities, and to make it fun and as enjoyable as possible, whilst working together with the parents and meeting the standards of osfted in conjunction with The Early Years Foundation Stage.

The activities in my care are all based around creative and physiacl play, understanding the knowledge of the world, problem solving, reasoning and numeracy, communication, language and literacy, personal, social and emotional development.

With all the above skills, this will help children to become confident, well rounded individuals.
